A Ceremony Shaped by the Sea

We set the scene on the beach at The Westin Grand Cayman, right on Seven Mile Beach. Instead of a traditional arch, our team hand-draped taupe silk into sculptural forms that rose straight from the sand. The fabric moved with the breeze and caught the island light beautifully throughout the day.

We kept the palette soft and natural: sand, taupe and ivory against the deep blue of the Caribbean Sea. A neutral palette lets the setting take centre stage, and it ensures your photos will feel just as timeless on your 20th anniversary as they do today.

Try this for your wedding: Let your venue guide your colours. In Cayman, the water and sand are already stunning, so choose tones that complement them rather than compete with them.

A Reception That Breaks the Straight Line

For the reception, we skipped the classic long table. Instead, we curved two tables into a spiral, wrapped in the same soft draping used for the ceremony. The result is striking from above and wonderfully intimate from every seat.

Our florals stayed loose and garden-inspired, with white hydrangea and anthurium arranged to feel relaxed yet intentional. Stationery by Magenta Studio carried the neutral palette onto each place setting, tying the whole look together.

Try this for your wedding: Your table layout is one of the easiest ways to make your reception feel personal. A curved, U-shaped or spiral layout helps guests see and talk to each other, and it creates a memorable moment when they first walk in.
